Erfurt is located in the heart of Germany and has excellent infrastructure. Erfurt-Weimar Airport in the immediate vicinity, the ICE junction in the city centre, city railway line 2 with its stop at the trade fair site and a direct link to the motorway network ensure that the location is very convenient for our visitors, exhibitors and participants. Thanks to its excellent location between the railway station, airport and motorway, the trade fair and congress centre takes the stress out of travelling to and from your event.

International arrivals: The direct connection to Erfurt-Weimar airport (just one change from city railway line 4 to line 2 at the Gothaer Platz stop is necessary) makes the journey easier for international visitors.

In addition, when travelling on ICE trains, Leipzig/Halle Airport can be reached in about 30 minutes and Frankfurt Airport in about 130 minutes.

Your Conference Ticket inlcudes a ticket for local transport of EVAG Lines. It is valid 3 hours prior to the start of the event until 3 a.m. on the following day on all EVAG lines within fare zone 10.

VISA

Germany is part of the European Union. Many visitors are allowed to enter EU countries without a visa.

Congress delegates who require a visa can easily obtain it from the German Embassy in their home country. On request a letter of invitation will be sent by the conference secretariat, pse-conferences@efds.org. Applications for invitation letters should be received before June 30, 2024.
